Capital One sent the IRS a 1099-c for 2014. They did not send one to us.
It created an audit, or both 14, and 13, as the IRS wanted to know why we didn't submit the Capital One 1099. I didn't know what he was talking about until he showed us the 1099 sent to IRS. It gets worse, Capital One does not have any records or documents that shows the reason for the 1099 to the IRS. Their back office/compliance is a joke.
We are going to have to get an attorney, file with Calif.
Attorney General's office, check out how much damage it created for our credit, et., etc.,etc...They said there were charge-offs. No, there was not..
Reason of review: Problems with payment.
