I opened a secure card with a $500.00 payment in 2011. I was making payments as normal and admit I fell behind. The balance when I closed the account was over my limit. After closing the account and paying the full balance I never received my original payment for the...

"How are they still in business?"

A) They have billions of dollars in revenue, so fines and complaints don't hurt them. B) New customers tend to be ignorant C) As with any bank, they can "fix" the books in their favor.

This happened to me as well with Capital One Auto Finance. They claimed I was late when I paid my bill on time very month.

CS department finally admitted it was their error, but also stated they could not change the credit report. So when I disputed with the credit reporting agency, Capital One once again stated they were correct. I refinanced with another company, and I have vowed never to have anything to do with Capital One as long as I live. They even bought out one of my credit cards, I closed the account immediately.

You have to wonder about a company that is always asking whats in your wallet....

Capital one HBC credit card

We recently received an HBC credit card issued by capitsl one. Almost immediatley transactions which we didn't originate were posted to our account. When we complained, we were trated like criminals, and one of their so called customer service officers suggested that "maybe we had driven to Burlington and used the cards there. First of all, we hadn't received our cards yet and secondly the store where the charges orignated is 4000km away. We finally got it resolved, but what can you expect from an organization that 17000 complaints last calendar year. Stay away from the Hudson Bay Co. and capital one.

Capital One flagged my account as a security risk after using my credit limit of $20,000. Since they did that, i was not able to speak to anyone (at least a human being) or claim my rewards of 35,000 Miles which is about $300. I paid the balance and never saw the...

I wonder how you know that sad person "Pam". Hmmm?

I'll tell you how very obvious you do work for Capital One.

Thieves and crocks is what Capital One is. I am very happy so far, the negative feedback i have spread all over will cost you more to fix than stealing my reward points.

Enjoy it! Haha...

Since Capital One bought out my favorite bank of all time (ING Direct), I have experienced issues with my checking account. I had been a ING Direct customer since 2005, but Capital One didn't care about that. Recently, an automatic withdrawal from my checking account...

I am also a Capitol One 360 customer. I hope you didn't go to the trouble of changing all your banking.

I have received this notice, also.

The wording says the account MAY be closed if it happens again, not WILL.

I spoke to a CS Rep when I got my notice, and I was told that that is an automatic email.

Granted, it is a scary situation when you get the email, but don't panic. Just watch your spending and move money from your savings to your checking to be sure you have a buffer.

Capitol One 360 still does not charge you for the overdrafts, but it costs them to process them.

Capital One

One constantly calling me about a debt I do not owe, have no knowledge of and have repeatedly asked them to stop calling me. The number they are calling me from is 18042177156 @ 6:29 pm.,12:24 p.m Sept. 4, 3:29 p.m and 12:13p.m on Sept 3 and so on. I am a heart patient and have filed for bankruptcy and was discharged from all of my debts and have no idea where this company came up with this account I know nothing about and have received a letters from Capital One that they would not contact me anymore after having provided a copy of my papers to them of the court order, but still they have disrupted my sleep, they call all matters of the day and night and have placed false information on my credit report. I am now in the process of seeking legal help and suing this company for their unscrupulous tactics they use to disregard a court order to cease and desist all contact to a person who has filed bankruptcy.

I have a loan with cap 1. When i wanted a due date change cause it was due on 29th and my mortgage is due on the 1st.

It was explained to me clearly that i could not do a due day change until i got my account current. So i did & now my payment is due in the middle of the month.

So much easier to make my payments now. It was so hard before cause my 2 biggest bills were so close to each other.

Capital One - Creit limit increase nightmare

I have been with Capital One for 2 years and Paid my bill with them but have not recieved a credit increase. I call and they give me the same speech. They review account periodicly and increase credit limits. I want to know who is "they" because they must be on a long vacation. They want you to apply on line or on the computer but that hurts your credit score cause they run your credit. What a rip off. they just collecting interest on your little limit and saying ***..I wish I would have never open up the account

Applying for a credit limit increase online.. Doesn't hurt your credit.

It's called a soft inquiry. Which means ONLY YOU SEE IT. If you've called customer service and asked, they would have told you that.

If you dont understand credit or credit cards, you shouldn't use them.

It's YOUR job to stay on top of your credit.
