Capital One - Capitol auto finance lieing

Capitol one keeps saying that I'm one month behind everytime I make a payement to get them current and then they say they put one month at the end of my auto loan then say that I'm still a month or two behind and will not send me payement bookl let or switch my due date.when I got the auto loan fom the dealer I did not know it was capitol 1 because if I had knew it was I would of never took a loan from them with high interest rate where I'm paying for a cheap car three times and know the are ripping me off in broad day light .

Capital One - Creit limit increase nightmare

I have been with Capital One for 2 years and Paid my bill with them but have not recieved a credit increase. I call and they give me the same speech. They review account periodicly and increase credit limits. I want to know who is "they" because they must be on a long vacation. They want you to apply on line or on the computer but that hurts your credit score cause they run your credit. What a rip off. they just collecting interest on your little limit and saying ***..I wish I would have never open up the account

Applying for a credit limit increase online.. Doesn't hurt your credit.

It's called a soft inquiry. Which means ONLY YOU SEE IT. If you've called customer service and asked, they would have told you that.

If you dont understand credit or credit cards, you shouldn't use them.

It's YOUR job to stay on top of your credit.

Capital One in Lethbridge, Alberta - Increase of limit

For the past 3 years we have ask for are limit to be increased. We have been getting the run around. We pay our bill on time and never pay interest on late payment. We just got a new credit from AAA with a limit of $20,000.00 due to our excellent credit rating. Capital One refused to increase our $5000.00 limited. So after getting the run around we destroyed our cards and will not deal with Capital One again. Capital One needs to get there staff better trained or have there accounting office better informed. Not happy with there service. We would not recommend Capital One due to there poor service.

maybe having 20k on another card uses up all the unsecured credit that mathematically you are entitled to and they can't raise your credit limit. Credit cards are UNSECURED debt and if you can't afford to make payments on the maximum amount of credit limit you have from all sources you may be declined an increase.

Doesn't that make sense?

There is only so much unsecured credit that is reasonable for most people unless you are a billionaire.

If you ran up all those cards you need to have the income to pay it off - they don't look too much at assets but income. Credit card companies are assuming the risk to extend you credit and it is irresponsible to grant someone more credit than they can reasonably pay.

Okay, you can destroy a card but that doesn't mean the account is closed.

Also, if you aren't using the majority of the 5k on a monthly basis (and paying it off in full).

They will think you don't need more credit. Which you probably don't.

You just want it, to have it. Move on.

I made a complaint about Regions Bank and Bank Corps South using FISERV to share your private information with 3rd parties. Since I cannot get any satisfaction at Regions, I have taken to calling the vendors separately. Capital One visa was wonderful! They told me...

If you indeed have all the proof that they're wrong, file a dispute.

How could they "kick back money to your debit card" is a better question...

Capital One in Linden, New Jersey - Bad Bank, Bad practice, harrassing phone calls

I'm always being a good customer dealing with credit card. Always pay on time, this month I miss one payment I believe I missplace the bill and totally forgot about it. Then I realize what happened, I scheduled payment for the next due date paying double payment. Everything has been set up and processed but they keep calling me on my cell on my work phone 2-3 times a day each phone. This is so ridiculous which I only owe them $65. Amex, Citi card never bother me when I miss only one payment. Stay away from this bank!!!!

It never fails to amuse me when companies screw up and treat their customers bad, and when they complain about it, said company hires trolls to try to put their spin on bad behavior.

It never fails to amuse me when customers make late payments and then *** and moan about calls, late fees, etc, all the while saying "I'm a good customer" as if the credit card companies should give them special treatment for USUALLY paying on time. It doesn't matter that you scheduled your NEXT payment, you are still currently in arrears!!

:roll :roll Thanks for the laugh.

Capital One in Burlington, Massachusetts - Yeah, they totally suck

Been a customer since the 1990's, and never missed payments. I Have a great credit score. First they jacked up my interest rates to 17% "due to market conditions" (translation: their shareholders aren't making enough $$$) Then, just today, they slashed my credit limit by 35%, again, no reason other than their total disregard for their customers. They are completely amazing... I've never been treated so *** in my entire life by any other company. I hate them and will never, ever do business with them ever, and urge anyone looking for credit cards to run as fast as possible away from Capital One.

check your credit reports - obviously something is reporting that causing concern that your credit line is too high. rates/lines are based on your credit history and obviously when your account was reviewed something changed for the negative with your credit.

seriously it is you - your monthly minimum payment is due between your statement date and due date. you made your 50.00 the last day of the previous statement cycle - that was your error and the bank can't just move the payment to a different date.

you can't pay a credit card in advance unless you date the payment within the correct payment cycle which you easily could have done if you were paying attention - you can set future dated payments. Im sure that payment was posted on the date YOU requested.

I don't even work for a bank anymore but I do have a lot of financial experience and sadly most people don't take the time to educate themselves on their own financial life and push the blame on companies that are doing EXACTLY what you requested when you scheduled the payment.

If you paid late, asked for extension on your loan, and I'm sure you're all jumping up and down after you're granted for the extension, and now you're whining because you found out you still owed more and your car is only worth much less than what you thought it should be? And that would make Capital One a rip-off??
