Shocked at new "Bill Pay"
- New bill pay design is horrendous
Preferred solution: Go back to old Bill Pay user interface or design a new one that isn't such utter useless garbage.
User's recommendation: If you play to sue Bill Pay, find a different bank.

Verified Buyer | Glendale, ArizonaStolen money!
This bank steals money from their customers in plain sight! I looked at my bank account and seen my credit card balance up $875.88 and the CONA word next to returned payment.
I just called their customer service number to ask what does this word mean because this is the second time this has happened to me with Capital One, and someone from Florida she said payment of $595.09 was returned but she never explained what this word means. My credit card balance went from $595.09 up to $875.88!. I made my credit card payment the same day I received my paycheck on September the 15th!.
When I first called, the automated system it said my payment was received! I want my money back, Capital One!

Suspicious activity
On October 19th I received a phone call about a legal matter attached to my name and social security number. The lady said her name was Merideth Heel.
I have been getting voicemails from 254-327-**** with a recorded message as to the above mentioned subject but the call back number was 833-240-****. She said I was being sued by Capital One for a debt that went delinquent in 2019. She offered a settlement of $1,998.52. If I chose not to pay that it would be sent over to processing and I would have to pay more than three times that if it went to court.
I told her I wanted to review my records. She said ok Im sending it over to processing and ended the phone call. During that phone call she verified the last four digits of my social security number and my address. I have never been delinquent on a credit card since 2007.
On October 20th I contacted Capital One. A lady by the name of Rose was very helpful. I explained the situation. She said none of the phone numbers were acociated with Capital One.
She told me not to give out any personal information and referred me to Abuse@***l One.com. I could not find that site so I am putting this information here. The number that ends in 4137 called me on the 20. I did not answer.
I received no phone call today. I really hope you can help me in this matter.

CONA is short for Capitol One North America. It was found in 10 seconds with a simple search.
That is all it means. COBNA is Capitol One Bank of North America.
Some of the CC accounts are under CONA . While saving and checking are COBNA.
