Capital One in New York, New York - Unnecessary holds on my money

My check was deposited on december 2nd. I received a letter from capitol one stating that the funds would be ready on 12/13. I went to the bank. They lied saying it was unavailable for withdrawl. The man in the bank(worker) told me that I needed to give a purpose for withdrawing my own money. He was very rude and unprofessional. The supervisor allowed him to deny my full withdrawl after she approved it. This is the worst experience anyone could have with their own money. This is illegal and I hope this guy is pinished for his aggorance.

He won't be "pinished" nor will he be "punished". Time to get another bank.

I deposited a third-part cheques yesterday at my branch and it is available today for withdrawal if I want.

I go to Chase. They have some branches located in the local Meijers stores which have rude, unprofessional workers, but the regular branches are just fine.

Capital one credit card did not honor 6 month no intrest or payments

Recently got this card offer 6 months no interest or payments accept the offer and now capital one is trying to charge me interest after month one. After complaining we will see what happens, I am guessing it was bait and switch they will say I didn't quality for that when i clearly said on the phone as they activated my card did i get 6 months free interest and payments and the guy said yes. I noticed it was missing but figured it was ok when he said it was intrest free and payment free indroducty of 6 months If he had said no I wouldn't have activated the card. Its ok if they fix, if they don't I will pay it off and ax the card in to pieces as they are lying crooks

Capital One in Washington, District Of Columbia - Rude Service

bad customer service at capital one bank at clopper mill in Germantown, MD. The teller named Silvia Sanchez is extremely rood and makes faces and yells at me every time I go to deposit it is a verry bad service. I am thinking take this up to the district manager of the bank, i am also taking out all my money fro this bank and going to TD bank because of this reason. This bank does not deserve my business because of this bad employee named Silvia Sanchez. I supper supper hate this bank just because of this employee. very bad

Maybe you should probably stop going into that branch. What a sad decision based off of one person.

And you probably give her a reason to feel a certain way about you. I wish we stop complaining like we go in as angels and tell the whole story. Also she cannot possibly be rood.

but she can be rude. Spell check please :p

Capital One...Hardly Capital and Definitely Not the One

I received a call from the circulation department of the newspaper to which I subscribe, telling me they could not charge my subscription to my Capital One Visa, as they have in the past, because of some issue with the card. I went to Capital One's web site and found out that I apparently had a two-month past due balance on the card. In the past, Capital One has notified me at my main e-mail address of any payments due and I've always gone to the web site and paid them on time. I've never changed my e-mail address for payment alerts from Capital One and have never changed my alert options. My e-mail box never gets full and I always check my spam folder. I'm at a loss to explain why I stopped receiving the alerts from Capital One and, apparently, so are they, according to an online chat I had with one of their customer service representatives.

email alerts are a courtesy, just because you dont get one doesn't mean you bill is not due. you are responsible for makeing the payment on time that is all. keep track of your due dates and dont rely on emails from them thay have no control over weather the mail goes thru or not.

CAPITAL ONE SUCKS!

I HAVE BEEN A CLASS A CUSTOMER FOR OVER 20 YEARS WITHOUT ANY LATE PAYMENTS. I WAS LATE ON ONE PAYMENT AND THEY ARE NOW BANGING ME FOR 24% INTEREST THEY TOLD ME SEVERAL TIMES AFTER 3 CONSECUTIVE PAYMENTS THE INT. RATE WOULD DROP TO 15% THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR A YEAR. THEY LIE TO KEEP YOU PAYING THE 24% AND KEEP YOU HOOK LINE AND SINKER. I WOULD DEFAULT ON THEM IF I WERE NOT SO CONCERNED WITH MY CREDIT. THEY SUCK! PLEASE DONT BANK WITH CAPITAL ONE THEY SUCK! WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND *** CAPITAL ONE.

like the previous person said if you wouldnt have been late you wouldnt be charged interest rates will be accessed if you pay late duhhhh i would for a bank and i know some stuff can be resolved if your polite and cooperative but i mean if your being messed up and not taking responsiblity of what you do to your **** account then deal with it.. you should know what you have in your account and be responsible if you know you cant pay then dont use it **** its not capital ones fault its yours man up

Good to know that I'm not the only one having trouble paying my bill online. Although this problem seems to have been going on for days, and that makes me nervous. I sincerely doubt they would cut you any slack if your payment was late, due to THEIR problem.

Capital One in Reno, Nevada - Cannot get into Capitol One Statement

Have been trying two days to get into my Capitol One account to check my statement. It says I don't have the right password. I have tried many times to get into my statement to no avail. This is very frustrating. I have saved my sign in name and password so I will not have to go through this all the time. What is going on? Have never had this much trouble since I started with Capitol One. If I cannot review my statement, I don't have to pay my bill and should not accumulate any late fees.

You know....they employ hundreds of people to sit and wait for you to call and ask for help. I'm sure the phone number is on the back of your card.... are people really this *** or do users just make up weird stories on this site?

Common sense would tell you to click on the "forot password" link and have your correct password emailed to you. But apparently common sense is something you clearly lack. How would you id1ots survive in this world without us regular people here to help you out with the simplest of problems.

Capital One Auto Finance Is Terrible:

They have the worst Representatives and have provided me with inconsistant information everytime I call. I was given an amount to pay and was told this would prevent reposession- I also verified this with a manager. I received a letter in the mail 3 weeks later stating I owed a different amount again and that my vehicle was going to be reposessed if I did not pay them. My statement shows late fees and other fees, when asked what they other fees were I got a vague answer. I requested to have my call pulled as I was mislead by the last representative, I was told calls are only pulled for training purposes. They are a Fraudulant company that will not try to work with you and only give you the run around. I could not even get an address to file a complaint. I am SOOOO tired of this Company taking advantage of people. I will never use them again and I will share my experience with as many as I can.
