I have been getting daily phone calls from Capital One, regarding a relative. They will not tell me what the issue is, they just ask for this person. More recent calls have not even asked for the relative, I say hello one or two times, then they hang up. Capital One...

I have a CapitalOne Visa small business credit card for convenience. I wouldn't ever consider carrying a balance nor use the checks that they frequently send. I feel that existence of those checks is risking one's financial security because it is so easy for...

i had a dispute with a car rental overseas - for example - the invoices they (car people) submitted to capital one via fax had my signatures obviously photocopied - they'd cut the slips so that one overlaid the others that they submitted - cap one's "fraud department' agreed with me but their "dispute department" claimed that i was "late" disputing it (because I was busy dealing with their "fraud department" . i don't use cap one anymore - thinking of running up a debit with them and not paying it or taking them to small claims court -such a nuisance - only reaso i have a credit card is to "rent cars" and the 2 industries are in cahoots with each other - why has the government shrunk the FTC budget

Capital One in Lafayette, Louisiana - Money making racket

I am on social Security. I receive my money automatically deposited on the 3rd of each month. This month I get 4 NSF ($35.00 each) charges. I called Customer Service and was told that there wasn't anything they could do about it. I went in to my local branch and was told that Social Security checks post at midnight of the day they are deposited and anything that comes in during that day will be considered NSF on account of the SS check has not actually posted until midnight. If I had deposited cash this would not be the case, I would not have been charged the NSF fees. BTW I was informed at my local branch that Capitol One has graciously put a cap on daily NSF charges so they will never exceed 4 ($140) per day. How gracious and generous of them to allow me this privilege seeing as how it is supposed to be my money anyway!!! I am not a happy camper and am switching to a credit union today!!!

Back in mid December, I received a credit line increase on my Capitol One credit card, shortly thereafter I received a letter from Cap One with checks to use to make it easy to use the increase. I did and wrote a check in late december for $1000 to a company. About Jan...

Capital One lost my title too, supposedly, and I wasn't able to register my car in my new state of residence so they eventually repossessed it. Now I've learned that they sold it at auction with a phony title and tried to scam me out of a huge deficiency balance with a fraudulent sale. They are being sued.

Capital one is the worst bank ever! i am a victim of fraud they are giving me the run around! I filed a complaint over a week ago and still havent received my money! Over $600! My money is currently pending the official post and i am still waiting. I have been with credit unions that give your money back or half back right away this bank didnt help me out at all! i cancelled my card and everything and i went to the bank and they asked me if i had my card? for what? why the heck would i carry around a cancelled card?! i was also told to put a hold on my account just in case and was told later on that my money cant post unless the hold is off! please train your people capital one. im sorry i am leaving this bank asap and sticking with the credit unions...oh yeah i was also told that they cant refund me over draft fees due to someone stealing my money! come on now! worst bank ever!

I bought something that turned out to be a fake, after disputing the charge, fighting through their elaborate defense against customers, I got a refund until the fraudster complained and I got rebilled without notice. This company is horrendous at any form of service.

I must say you should try dealing with capital one auto. I called the customer service number to inquire on making extra payments to make off car sooner, little did I know I was calling India, I understood almost nothing they were saying to me, if you want a manager, they are just as difficult and are very rude. I am looking to refi, just so I don't have to deal with them.

Any bank is going to do an investigation before they just give you "your" money back. Plus, it is not their fault you went into overdraft and only have $600.00, why don't you switch to Bank of America and see how it goes and how they *** over.

I'm getting rid of BofA and going with Capital One because BofA sucks and Capital One is a whole lot better.

I love ppl that switch banks because of just one simple problem.

Had that been me, I would have switch from BofA, years ago!!!
