Capital One Commerical Loan Technical Defaults
I wanted to see if anyone is has expirenced capital one putting them into a stratigic or technical default with a bunch of unproved lies, IS anyone elese fighting back with lender libalioty or class actions? This maybe an orcastred effort on there part to reduce there balance sheet, we can never speak to anyone more than once, people keep coming and going. Capital One in Los Angeles, California - Call me 30 times a day!!
I am reading all of these complaints and understand your pain. I have a loan through Capital One and they are really bad. I paid my payment on time for three years on a five year loan, then last year I lost my job and was struggling to make payments ontime. They called me 20 to 30 times a day!!! I had to turn my phone off because it was so annoying. I asked to defer a payment and they agreed, but I had to make two payments upfront since I was two pmts behind, pay a fee of 70.00 and be put on auto pay. They failed to tell me that if I was late again the deferment would cancel. I was a day late for my next payment because the date of my autopmt fell on a Sunday and didnt post until Monday, even tho I was on auto pay, they considered it late!....and they charged me late fees and showed me two months past due because the deferment cancelled. The calls started up again. These people are crooks.
Capital One in New Orleans, Louisiana - Drop interest rate on Credit Cards
I have been a customer of Capital One for over sixteen years and throughout my transaction has paid more than enough in fees because good and bad years but now my situation has gotten better now and after 12 months of good standing with capital One they still will not reduce my interest rates on my cards. after telling me how valuable I am as a customer and how well I have been paying my monthly payments above the minimum due and how they appreciate my commitment. However I need to go through a review period. Each time I call after six months I get the same statements on that I must go through a review process still today I call and was given the same speech after sixteen years I ready to move on. Capital One has not been fair with me and I'm looking for someone to do better than what is being offer by capital one
Capital One in Bellevue, Washington - Unwanted Service Charges -$100
Advice for anybody with a kid: manage their bills for them for the first few months. Don't give them the responsibility to do it themselves. They may be older but it's still a new experience and they won't know any better. Capital One is known to screw people over. That's why they hand out credit cards to anybody. They WILL trick you/force you into paying them back. For months I've been being charged for services I specifically said I didn't want. The only time I ever talked to a human was last year to setup my new credit card. I was 18 when I got this and was new to it and am currently 19. On the bills, I didn't know what the charges were. I thought they were a code for something I paid for and I just didn't recognize it. I also have 2 jobs, full time college student, and have elderly parents and their house I need to care for. It's tough to free several hours in that kind of schedule to search for a loophole to reach a human being. I don't have time to spend playing around. EVERY 1-800/1-866 number they give did the same thing. "Please enter 16-digit pin and verify with last four digits of your social security." Then they give you your balance and tell you to choose from several different options. None of the options were "speak with a representative." I exhausted EVERY OPTION on EVERY HOTLINE. I also emailed several times and received more computer automated responses. I've been charged with almost $100.00 in charges for services I never wanted and they said they'd only refund me $5.99 for this month and followed with "I am extremely sorry for your inconvenience. My system will only allow me to compensate for this month. You're stuck paying the rest." Why should I pay for something I said I DO NOT WANT? We went at this for a good hour. What annoyed me the most was that the woman who tried to "help" canceled the service, compensated only $5.99 out of the $100.00 and then tried to PERSUADE ME to keep paying for these services. I'm not so irresponsible that I need backup insurance on my card. I'll never lose it, never give out my number or information, etc. I'm the daughter of an accountant and tax professional - a financial genius. I've picked up from him and KNOW how to manage money. Anyway, summed up, I'm stuck paying off the charges but at least I'll be seeing my bill go down each month when I send in a monthly payment.

Capital One in Bronx, New York - Hold on credit card
I recently got approved for capital one credit card after using it 4 times or so they put a security hold totally which I was not aware of. when I used it to pay it was denied. asked to submit documents to them which I did it will take up to 4 business days to resolve. issue has yet to bed resolved. They left me on a lurch. I would never recommend this card to anyone. and I faxed it 2 times. very very frustrating. and all they can offer you is an apology that does not help me at all
Capital One has the worst customer service ever!
I filled a dispute over a month ago. It was credited back to my account. Then last week I recieved a letter saying it was being recharged so I called back to let them know I got the letter and asked why I was being charge for something I didn't authorize. They said I was supposed to send back a dispute form which I never got. The man I talked to on the 23rd of November told me I would have the letter resent and it would be "in my mailbox within 4 business days". I was recharged the unauthoized vendor charge since that point and am now over my credit limit because of this. I called back today and was told that it will take another 10 business days to get the letter. I asked to talk to a supervisor and the supervisor was told by a female agent who transfered me that she had already redisputed the charge. The supervisor stayed on the line with me while I was transfered back to the disputes department again and I was told with her on the line that the female dispute agent lied to the supervisor about fixing in for me and it's still a pending dispute. I am so frustrated with the situation I am about ready to just close the account and tell everyone I know to stop banking with your company too! The disputes people are totally rude and don't give out accuate infromation even to the reps in their company. I am feed up with being blown off and told to "just be paient" or "argueing will not change anything mama". These people are supposed to be helping the customers not like idots and lying to them. My credit is being negatively effected by this because my card is now over limit thanks to this. Come tax season I am paying off this card and Capital One will no longer be "what's in my wallet". This company has the worst customer service I have ever experianced in my life! Never get a card with them they are horrible!
Capital One in Charlotte, North Carolina - Capital will not let me access my online account.
I have been a Capital One customer for many years.I do ALL of my business, payments and updating my credit cards on my account on-line. From time to time when I try to log in, Capital One will block my account access and not let me in my own freeaking account. When you call to explan your comcern, you in up talking to someone you CANNOT understand!!! That is just *** If they want to continue my business leave my account alone and since they wont let my pay for my bills............I'll let them pay for it! Jerks!
I got a capital one card to rebuild credit. Started out ok, then i was wracked by all these so called maintaince fees. Finally, I stopped using the card, and paying it down. But alas their fing wallets were not large enough that right before my wedding they claimed I said to close the card and closed the card on me. I used to work for a call center for Capital One. #1 you cannot close the card with out the customer on the phone and acceptance. They closed it and after going through 4 supervisors/ so called managers. Still unresolved. Now In collections..I am resolving it. If your thinking of a cap one card..don't look else where...what's in your wallet? more of your money out of their hands.
