I have been a customer of capital one for almost 18 years. Never have i been so diappointed in a bank. I attempted to get the 360 checking and savings program they had been promoting. The arrogant attitude of their so call customer service will make me never want to seek another one of their products and i am a stockholder in the company , needless to say thats about to change.

I called in on 7/30/19 and simply requested for a fax number to send disputes information to. I originally was connected with a "new accounts" agent who then connected me to another agent. After sitting on the phone for twenty minutes after going through three "FBI" agents I still was not able to get the information I requested simply because I wasn't able to provide an acct number, though I originally told the agents, I wasn't calling about an acct, I was calling on behalf of my employer to acquire the number. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! TERRIBLE TRAINING, TERRIBLE WAY TO TREAT POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. SIMPLY FROM THIS EXPERIENCE ALONE, CAPITAL ONE WILL NEVER KNOW WHATS IN MY WALLET OR ANYONE I ASSOCIATE WITH IF I HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT.

Ha... So here's what probably happened.

You called in demanding a few extra days to pay which violates the agreement YOU took on. They said no but countered with changing your due date, you said no to that. After not getting what you wanted, you went into your wild customer is God act and played the good old "if you don't do {demand} you can cancel my {service}." Getting sick of your @#$# and the need to move on, they called your bluff and cancelled your card as you said you wanted them to do. LOL....

You got your wish.... When you play this game, plan on losing from time to time. It's that simple.

So let me guess, your next complaint will be they messed up your credit by closing your card and upending your utilization score. In a few days, you'll look back and think you should have taken the other deal or took minor hit in the form of a late fee.

May I suggest to the Reviewer that you click on "Report" and report this Anonymous comment as offensive. I found it offensive and tried to report it but Pissedconsumer.com won't take it down.

My only suggestion is that you report it to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau which the company can take up to 60 days to respond. Once the CFPB receives a response from the company they will close the complaint. Make sure you check the box you want your complaint on the CFPB Website.

Make a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau which you can do online and upload information you have and make a complaint. They have to respond.

It may not be the response your expecting but at least you have something from them in writing. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is only good for collecting documents.

Once the CFPB get any response it doesn't matter if the company is lying they close the complaint. Make sure you check the box that you want your complaint posted on their Website and provide as much information as possible in your complaint.
