While my issue is now resolved, it was exceptionally frustrating as a consumer. These guys have no clue about running a consumer company.
I had an old dormant acccount that I brought to a zero balance and closed. They never closed the account. A subsequent annual membership fee caused me to be in arrears for several years while I failed to receive correspondence. While I appreciate resolution, the final comminication from Capital One suggested I would be unable to enter into a future relationship with them due to a multi year delinquency!
They have so much to learn about customer service, and there are plenty of other companies who want my business. UGH!
