My father passed away in May 2018. We started the process of closing his savings account in July 2018.

It is now mid November, and the account is still not closed. I have sent in all the requested paperwork. The only thing that is left is the letter of direction. This letter states what I would like to do with the money, my address, and my signature.

I have now sent 11 copies of this letter and all 11 copies have been denied. I have called numerous times to try and figure out what can I do in order to get this letter except it. Capital one has stated numerous times that these somewhat simple directions and I have complied every single time.

Yet each letter that I have written via email, fax, and the united Postal Service have still been denied. I’m absolutely convinced capital one just does not want to give up the money.
