Capital One in Las Vegas, Nevada - Auto loan

I have loan through capital one. I needed a extinction they said I could have one for a month. But now I am not eligible for it. They are always rude. They don't care about their customers. I would like to talk to a higher up person. I get hung up on to. The car I have is a 2004 Nissan altima. I got behind before for emergency reasons, but I got it all caught up even. All I wanted was a month. I also asked them if they had loan modification and they said no. That's where they give you a few months of half pymts

Wow, first you need to learn how to spell, extinction??

No creditor is required to extend you any payments and none offer modifications on Auto loans. Best thing to do would be to borrow money from a family member to catch up.

Capital One in Las Vegas, Nevada - I made an extra payment, then when I tried to get It back they told me cant help you?

Every time I contact Capital One I get the same old story, Sorry we cant Help you. I recently made an extra payment by mistake, (this was due to the fact that there system doesn't update itself not even in the 24 hrs. that they say it does) so when I called to see about being reimbursed I got the same story. They told me that they are a Hassle Free service.Yeah!! They told me that there is no way for them to reimburse that extra payment back to me. When asked for a supervisor they told me that there's nobody here that can Help you. NO GO TO GUY at Capital One, I'm just a small Fish in a Big Pond but this was B.S. I tried to E-mail the CEO cant even find an E-mail address. Take your money else where I say, Small Fishy

Hey I had the same problem and they will help you . They email you a refund statement that you sign and along with that, fax them a copy of your bank statement showing that you were charged twice and within 72 hours they will refund you the other payment.

I did it the same day and the next following day they refunded the amount back to my account. Sorry this happened to you. Youre right about their sysytem though because thats how I made the same mistake.

next time just do it once and wait for them to call you 50 times a day so that you can tell them to check their system to see that you already made that payment. Good Luck

Most likely what will happen is it will be added to your account and taken off next months' payments.

E-mailing the CEO isn't going to get you anywhere. I hate to say it, but the CEO's job is not to listen to customer complaints; most likely his e-mails are screened, and it would never even reach him :/

God Bless Capital One!!!

Beware of their business practices! They sent us to collections for an account less than 10 days past due and an oversight. As soon as I realized it I corrected it and two days later I received a letter demanding full payment. Well you know what they can do with their card and our other accounts that all are in good standing, well they lost another customer. Instead of working with their customers, they alienate them. Would love to know how much bailout money they took from the government and the people of the United States and of course they raised our interest rate to almost 30%.

Capital One Changing Minimum Due Without Notifying People

I pay my Capital One bill online. I always pay on time. I haven't worked in over a year, so regretfully, I pay the minimum. I don't enter an amount, I just click "pay minimum". Today I got a notice in the mail stating I was a month behind, so I called. I was told 2 months ago I paid $15 when I owed $16. I was charged a $39 fee, which happened again the next month even though I paid what was posted as the minimum! I called and said I paid what their website said I owed. The man tolded me the bills and the internet isn't always accurate. The only way to get an accurate amount due was to call Capital One before I make my payment! How is this legal? I've been charged $78 because the website had misinformation.

it isnt always accurate cause your not keeping a check register just going by what you see isnt good enough because theres pending transactions from previous merchants that have not posted people belive once they swipe the card the purchase and money come out right away its only added as a pending transaction until the merchant collects on those funds it can hold 5-7 buissness days and if not collecteed that merchant has up to 6 months to collect that money

Capital One in Las Vegas, Nevada - Captiol one rewards ***

I finally got enough rewards to cash in for a trip to Hawaii for my wife and I. Made the reservation in March with flights on Hawaiin air lines. Went to Hawaiin air lines web site today (August 22nd) and there was nothing for my reservation. After calling Capitol One and Hawaiin I found out that I do have a reservation but cannot pick seats like you normally would. You cannot get a seat until you arrive at the airport and check in, then you have to pick from what is left. This means that on a six hour flight my wife and most likely will not be allowed to sit together. I could cashed in my rewards (100,000 points = $1,000) made my own reservations ($848) picked my seats and pocketed the $152 difference. I thought this time I would let Capitol one take care of it. Never again!
