Opened a 360 CD account April 21, went through the account verification procedure, then the funds were not transferred. I waited 10 days then called customer service, they tell me the transfer was cancelled at the bank.

In the mean time the interest rate for that CD had dropped. They said i had to open a new account as the other one i opened was dead, and couldn't be used. I told them i didn't want to delete the original account and loose the rate and didn't want to open a new account. They were supposed to check into it and call me back.

I finally get a call back after almost 2 weeks, and now they tell me that because it was a joint account and only one of us had verified the transfer account within the 10 day time limit the original rate is not available. They said the 2nd verification came in on day 11, which is a lie because my wife never did it, we didn't know it was required nor was it in the instructions. After hearing this i asked to have the funds transfer cancelled and close the account.

They tell me the transfer is processed and i have to call back on June 1st when the funds are available. I am totally frustrated with them and wish i never applied for this CD.

User's recommendation: Dont do buisness with capitol one unless you enjoy being frustrated.

Monetary Loss: $300.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Capital One Cons: Hard to interact with.

I have tried many times to pay my Walmart Capital One card on line. For the last 3 month I have not been able to pay anything but had to call customer service, a recording, and pay the bill.

I always pay in full every month. I have been getting "Oops, we've hit a snag" we are working on the problem. Well, I dont know how long they have to work on it but it has been well over 3 months working on the problem I think they want you to somehow miss a payment and then slam you with interest rate that would astonish God. I am going to pay the balance off and get rid of my Walmart card altogether but I would like to get my rewards money out of them which is around $80.00.

Will try to use the rewards to buy something online from Walmart and see if I can get it used before i cancel the card. I am pissed trying to pay my bill but after I get it paid off this time, no more!!
