Finally got my card activated

I couldnt activate my new card. Was having trouble getting a new card.

Then had to send sensitive information through email. Then get a new card and cant activate it. I went on line couldnt do it that way. So wanted to call but couldnt find the number.

Going to the Google I finally found it then had to use voice response to activate. A lot of questions asked to finally get it activated.

Now Im in business. Had to have locks changed because neighbors accross the street and next door have been threatening to kill me and my family.

I missed one payment and they refused to remove my late fee. SMH I even spoke to a manager they refused to help me. I was shocked actually but enjoy my 39 dollar you thieves

Misleading

I was fortunate to start my credit over with a Cap One CC after coming out of a Chapter 7 that was Covid Related. I started off with a small unsecured amount and never missed a payment.

I was able to obtain three additional cards along the way with higher limits. I last check my credit score and it was over 650. So i applied for a credit increase with Cap One. 5minutes later I was denied.

A reason was too many missed minimum payment. I pulled my Credit immediately and discovered that I didnt have "ANY" missed payments on it.

Called Cap One and no one can provide me with any explanation. The irony in this whole ordeal is that Cap One pre approved my for a car loan of up to 40K but wont increase my credit $500.00.The only thing good about Cap One are the commercials

I called them on 01 August 2023, requesting they close my credit card. I received all the information - read the disclosure - and agreed.

Thought it was closed!! Today, I received a statement, with a balance due.

After an hour of *** customer service - I explained that I needed to return to work, and terminated my call.

So completely frustrating!! "What's in your wallet" - I got a whole bunch of annoyance!!!

They steal your credit card payments and deposits

Ive called this association several times to try to resolve the reasons they continually post on my account late payments, bogus charges, deduct my payments already posted, and boldly keep taking my money I pay on account as payment. I do not know what else to do about it.

They are abusive with customers funds and do not care.

Maybe if I complain on this website theyll stop robbing people who have a Walmart credit card account with them. They also keep giving me the run arounds whenever I call and pretend to solve my issue temporarily and then do the same thing again.

Deceptive advertising

They advertise a Quicksilver One card with 0 annual fee and $200 rebate when $500 is spent within a quarter. When I received the card, I was told there are,several Quicksilver One cards and the one I received did not participate in that promotion.

Then, I learned I was being charged $39 annual fee. A Supervisor came on and told me " too bad" When I told him if he wants to go after an old man on SS who wanted to cancel the account, he said I would be responsible for the fee and interest!!!

Is this the kind of company anyone wants???

Scam alert

I had to send $75 to get a card. I have nothing but a run around.

2 cards have supposedly been sent but neither one has come to me. What a shock.

When I call I get some east Indian or Pilipino who know nothing but read a card in front of them. What a scam.

I added on to my story . I called the Attorney general and left a message.

Tomorrow I am Calling a lawyer. Venmo emailed me again telling me they did nothing wrong it must have been Capital one.

I told them they have worn that excuse out they use it a lot. It's always the other guy.

I sent a payment to Capital one in January like the begging of the month I never received anything telling me that my bank did not release the payment until i called because looked and saw that the money was still in my account. So I made another one almost at the end of the month and I was told that you received it I waited on the phone to make sure.

But come to find out my bank did it again . So Capital one closed my Account All because NON ONE GOT WITH ME TO TELL ME THAT THEY DID NOT GET THE PAYMENT..So I paid my bill on time like I always do and it was closed. It really would have been nice to knows that you had a problem with VENMO.. I AM CLOSING THAT ACCOUNT NEVER AGAIN.

So I received a letter from Capital one today telling me because of activity not consistent with consistent with their expectations for account usage and violates the Capital one agreement. I must tell you this ever since I opened that account I have ALWAYS PAID ON TIME OR EARLY. NEVER ONCE WAS I LATE. So I don't know what to say to the letter except *** Thanks for letting me vent.

Preferred solution: Someone to notify all of the credit bureaus that this was not my fault because my credit score is going to go way down because of this I'm trying to build my credit up and ever since I've had Capital One it's gone down because of them in venmo

User's recommendation: Don't do it. They don't have the common sense to call and tell you that their is a problem with payment not once but twice

It is your responsibility to balance your bank account. If you see money still there that should have been paid, YOU need to call.

I received an invitation to apply for a secured card, which I promptly did. After applying and getting approved, I submitted a $300 deposit.

However, before the card was even sent to me, it was unexpectedly closed without any explanation. I had no outstanding balance on the account, yet I still haven't received my deposit back.

I've been informed that it could take between 60 to 90 days for the refund, which seems incredibly unfair. I did nothing to warrant the closure of the card, and I shouldn't have to endure such a lengthy wait to retrieve my deposit.

Unable to access my account online.

I have been trying to access my online account for the last three weeks! I have talked to 3 different help advisors for a couple of hours ten days ago to no avail.I gave a poor review of Capital one and got a call from a representative wanting to know why I gave a poor review.

I explained my reasons about the review.

He apologized and he would investigate the problem.

Still unable to access my account. Do I need to cancel
